Project Overview

ENFA, the Euro Nordic Funding Alliance, helps startups, SMEs, and associations across Europe access public funding. They focus on collaboration and innovation, and I was tasked with designing their brand identity to reflect their mission and values.

My Role

I created ENFA’s brand identity from scratch, including the logo and all the assets for their summits, such as banners, presentations, and promotional materials. The goal was to design something that clearly represented their focus on support, collaboration, and growth.

Design Process

Finding the Concept

When I started this project, I didn’t know much about funding, so I broke it down into simple ideas. I focused on the key words in their name: Euro, Nordic, Funding, and Alliance. These gave me the inspiration I needed to start designing.

Logo Design

The logo’s design tells a story:

Northern Inspiration: The shapes were inspired by mountains to represent Northern Europe.
Alliance and Support: I thought of a "house of cards" (or domino stack), where the pieces hold each other up. This symbolizes ENFA’s role in building partnerships and providing support. Two standing pieces stabilize the structure, representing the strength of collaboration.
Initials: I made sure the shapes also formed the initials “E,” “N,” “F,” and “A.”

The result was a simple, modern logo with a strong connection to ENFA’s mission.

Assets for Summits and Events

Using the same design style, I created a full range of materials for their events, including:

Event banners and posters.
Presentation slides.
Social media posts to promote their events.
Event Kits: Branded coffee cups, tablecloths, and other physical materials to enhance the event experience and make it cohesive with their identity.

Everything was designed to feel polished, professional, and consistent across both digital and physical platforms.
